Former Capitol Hill and federal administration staffer, Chris Averill, and award-winning communications and marketing strategist Andi Sterling, join S360 Montana’s premier public affairs team.
Helena, MT – Strategies 360 in Montana has added two top-tier professionals to elevate its government affairs, communications, and marketing practices.
Chris Averill serves as the Vice President of Communications and Government Affairs, and Andrea (Andi) Sterling serves as the Vice President of Communications and Marketing, for S360 Montana.

Averill helps S360 clients tell their story to policymakers and the public. After a long career in and around government, he is an expert in translating complex policy issues into plain and persuasive language that connects with and motivates target audiences. Averill joined S360 after serving as Communications Director the Montana Office of Public Instruction. Before that, he served as Regional Administrator for the U.S. General Services Administration’s (GSA) New England Region from 2018 – 2020. Averill also served seven years on Capitol Hill as communications director for former U.S. Senator Olympia Snowe and Congressman Sam Graves, as well as on the staff of the U.S. Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship.

Andi Sterling leads all marketing initiatives for Strategies’ clients. She helps clients craft and tell compelling stories that engage their target audiences; the challenge of compelling storytelling surrounding technology is one of her signature strengths. Prior to joining Strategies 360, Sterling was the Communications Director for Big Sky Care Connect (BSCC), a statewide health information technology nonprofit where she and her team won a Healthiverse Award. Previously, Sterling ran her own public affairs firm for two decades where she specialized in freelance writing and editing, media buying, and public relations for national and international brands including film and entertainment groups. Here, Sterling led the development and marketing for the film Mighty Times: The Children’s March which won an Oscar for Documentary Short Subject in 2005.
