Jessica McBride
Director of Communications, Oregon
Jessica serves as Director of Communications at Strategies 360 Oregon. Her expertise in digital communication and public education lends itself to Jessica’s adept ability to blend effective public outreach with critical public priorities. Clients and team members are served with Jessica’s strategic insights and powerful communication solutions.
Prior to joining Strategies 360, Jessica worked as a digital strategist at Mandate Media. In that role, she led the way on digital fundraising and mobilization for clients in Oregon and beyond. Her work included the entire lifecycle of digital mobilization, including planning, writing, producing, and reporting. Through meaningful storytelling and audience-focused engagement, she played a critical role in many winning campaigns.
Before entering the world of politics full-time, Jessica was an elementary school teacher, where, in addition to teaching first grade students, she organized teachers and school staff for legislative advocacy and school board campaigns.
Jessica has a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction from Portland State University and a bachelor’s degree in education from Boston University. She is also a graduate of the Emerge Oregon campaign academy.
A passionate advocate for education, Jessica serves on the board of the Beaverton Education Foundation. She also loves hiking, embroidery, and spending time with her husband, David, and their two cats, Scotty and Bernie.
