Bobby Lee, whose public service includes leadership roles under two mayors and two governors, has joined Strategies 360 as Senior Vice President of Public Affairs in Oregon.
Portland, OR – Former Portland Mayoral Chief of Staff, Bobby Lee, has joined the public affairs and communications firm Strategies 360 (S360). Lee brings a diverse range of leadership experiences spanning public, civic, and private sectors to his role as Senior Vice President of Public Affairs with the firm’s Oregon practice,

Prior to joining S360, Bobby notably assumed the pivotal role of Chief of Staff to the Mayor of Portland for nearly four years. During this tenure, he focused on the city’s recovery efforts following the global pandemic. He played a crucial role in transitioning the city organization to a new form of government, ensuring alignment with public approval and establishing a precedent for advanced municipal governance.
In previous public roles, Bobby contributed to the administrations of two Oregon governors, John Kitzhaber and Kate Brown, where he was instrumental in policy development and implementation addressing critical state issues. He worked closely with Seattle’s former Mayor Jenny Durkan, as the Director of Seattle Office of Economic Development, and also served as Director of Economic Development for Prosper Portland, the city of Portland’s economic and redevelopment authority.

As a nonprofit and private sector leader, Bobby has helped manage Worksystems, an organization dedicated to workforce development, and the Lane Business Education Compact, which fostered educational partnerships within the business community. At SK Hynix Semiconductor, he served as the Division Head of Strategic Planning, Communications, and Environmental Services.
A dedicated member of his community, Bobby has served on over 20 nonprofit boards, sat on the Eugene City Council and was appointed to the Oregon State Board of Higher Education by the Governor of Oregon.
