The Trujillos are combining their top government affairs practice, The Emissary Group, with S360’s full-service model to build a powerful suite of integrated practices for clients doing business in New Mexico and beyond.

T.J. and Jennifer bring a wealth of knowledge collaborating to achieve complex goals on behalf of their clients. The pair founded The Emissary Group, where they provided extensive communications services to enhance comprehensive lobbying on behalf of their clients. They built The Emissary Group into the largest premier and full-service government relations firm in the state of New Mexico.
With over 20 years’ experience practicing law, T.J. brings a unique twist to his government affairs practice. His expertise in environmental and administrative law has been the driving force behind his nearly two-decade lobbying practice. With his legal background, T.J. is well versed in lobbying compliance and drafting legislation. Developing advocacy strategies for clients on both legislative and regulatory matters is his specialty, along with a results-driven approach to government affairs.
Jennifer went from a corporate culture and a background in public relations to freelance writing. She ran the business operations for T.J.’s first government relations practice before they decided to establish The Emissary Group together.
T.J. and Jennifer work across party lines to deliver non-partisan wins to advance the public good. Their clients hail from various industries from agriculture, natural resources, and renewable energy to cannabis, higher education, and broadband.
