Carlos Droz Alvarado
Research Associate
Carlos Droz brings political science savvy to his role as Research Associate at S360. With a passion for polling and public policy, Carlos works with clients to effectively develop and deploy an polls, focus group studies, and other market research.
Hailing from Puerto Rico, Carlos began his career at the Puerto Rico House of Representatives with Rep. José B. Márquez Reyes, contributing to the development of several bills aimed at amending Puerto Rico’s tax exemptions to ensure increased investment, transparency, and better worker protections for benefiting companies.
Carlos has previously collaborated with the Puerto Rican Laboratory for Public Opinion and the University of Michigan’s Social Research to design a sample for the first Panel Study for Income Dynamics in Puerto Rico. Most recently, he worked at The Mellman Group, refining his research skills and assisting various political, nonprofit, and corporate clients in developing evidence-based political strategies.
Carlos holds a Bachelor’s degree in political science with an emphasis in policy and international affairs, along with a Minor in German from the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras campus. In his free time, Carlos enjoys playing video games, cooking and playing with his two cats.
