ERIN MCCANN
Strategic Advisor, Colorado
Erin serves as a Strategic Advisor for S360 in Colorado. She draws from a broad background in political and strategic communications, having worked for both the state and federal government. She is a natural relationship and coalition builder and has formed solid foundations in the state’s press, political, and business communities.
Erin previously worked as a Content Manager and Communications Strategist for the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment, where she served on several high-level commissions and associations including the National Association of State Workforce Agencies and as an aide to the Business Experiential Learning Commission.
As a former Press Secretary for Colorado U.S. Senator Michael Bennet, she played a key role in crafting messaging strategies for national initiatives around immigration, agriculture, public lands, education and healthcare policy. She successfully strengthened the office’s communications and outreach efforts statewide and aided on the campaign for his successful reelection.
Erin has also worked on campaigns for the Colorado State Legislature and provided communications support for the campaign to reelect Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper. Prior to this, she worked in communications for the State Senate President.
Erin graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder with Bachelor’s Degrees in both Political Science and Psychology. When she isn’t strategizing, she enjoys running, reading science fiction, finding reasons to visit the beach and spending time with her dog Bodie.
