Jason Badell has been in public affairs, marketing, and event planning in the Utah market for more than 18 years and brings expertise in public engagement through sponsorship, marketing, and events management.
Most recently, Live Strategies Group directed and produced the launch of the Tooele County tourism brand and implementation. Last fall, LSG and its associates branded and produced the 2018 Utah Solutions Summit, hosted by U.S. Senator Mike Lee, the D.E.A., and Utah Attorney General Sean Reyes.
With a strong sports and entertainment marketing savvy coupled with his knowledge of business development, Jason’s clients include Intermountain Volleyball Association, the Days of ’47 Rodeo & Cowboy Games, and Utah Warriors of Major League Rugby, which is in its second season this year. Jason and LSG also work extensively on state and local political campaigns and policy, with clients that include UCAIR, Attorney General Sean Reyes, and the Friends of Gary Herbert PAC.
In conjunction with Live Strategies Group, he also owns and operates 4MOGEN, a promotional branded products and apparel company serving sport and corporate clients including Utah Warriors, Vanderhall Motorworks, LifeVantage and Visit Salt Lake. Jason also serves as the CEO and Commissioner for the Intermountain Volleyball Association.
Prior to his current business ventures, he served as General Manager for the Orem Owlz, a minor league affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. During his time there, Jason led the team to second in all of Minor League Baseball in increased attendance for the 2011 Season. As Director of Sports Market Sales for Visit Salt Lake and the Utah Sports Commission, he secured and hosted events and meetings that produced over $25 million in yearly economic impact for Salt Lake County.
A native of Dover, DE, Jason holds a BS from Brigham Young University and an MBA from Westminster College, where he also volunteers to support the next generation of leading entrepreneurs. He lives in Bountiful, UT with his wife, Kari and very energetic 3 sons and 2 daughters. He loves coaching his sons’ baseball teams and traveling with his family as much as time allows.
