Strategies 360 is seeking qualified and motivated public opinion researchers to join our Market Research team in the role of Research Analyst. The role of Research Analyst will be uniquely responsible for survey sample data analysis, project logistical coordination, and implementing project management directives during all stages of client projects.

The Research Analyst position provides a great perspective into the strategic consulting and research industry with opportunities for individual professional growth within a fast-paced practice.  The right candidate will be consistently detail-oriented, proactive in problem-solving, and have an interest in data, demography, and public opinion.  A well-qualified candidate will also have excellent writing, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills and the ability to balance competing demands and timelines. Experience with SPSS, SQL, or R coding language is a plus but not a pre-requisite as the Market Research team uses WinCross for client deliverable, data documents.

Research Analysts will implement project management directives, coordinate project work with vendors, write presentations and memos, and support drafting of survey questionnaires, focus group guidelines, and in-depth interview guidelines. You will receive mentorship and training to help you grow your skills and network for personal and professional development.

Position responsibilities include:

  • Involvement with every aspect of the polling and qualitative processes, as well as client and project management
  • Leading on project logistics and quality assurance measures
  • Assisting in the drafting of reports and project deliverables
  • Reports directly to Senior Vice President of Research
  • Remote work available in states/districts with a S360 office, but preference given to candidate willing to relocate to work hybrid schedule in the Seattle office

Experience required:

  • 1-2 years working in project roles, public opinion research projects preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills
  • Strong aptitude for statistical data analysis and working with numerical documents (no advanced mathematics degree required)
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office suite, especially PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
  • Working knowledge of statistics is a major plus
  • Familiarity with concepts of representative statistical research survey polling and data files, including voter files, a major plus
  • Ability to work effectively within a friendly, team-first environment required
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field (political science, statistics, etc.)

  • Competitive salary commensurate with experience, between $50,000 to $75,000 annually depending on experience
